It appears the forum is now in open beta!
5Loyal rat that I am, I've been trying to check in every day to see if the forum was up yet. So of course, tonight (your "morning" likely), just minutes before I headed to bed, I discovered the forum button was activated. (I hear sleep is overrated anyway.)
I think I'm learning my way around...will be interesting to see how the forum evolves, especially when it needs to absorb the mediocre thoughts and questions of thousands of rats.

Awesome! That worked just as planned - I thought if anyone was crazy enough to be checking that button regularly, they're just who we want dropping in to see how things are going.
Please feel free to post any feedback, or you can send anything over to forums@mediocre.com and it'll go to @shawn and I.
(For now, no need to spread the word as we work out the bugs, but we're hopefully pretty close to announcing it.)
I applaud your loyalty, loyal rat.
Let's keep expectations on a mediocre level though, we're not working with much content here. :)
Yay loyal labrat! :)
I have to admit that my first instinct was to spread the news, but as I worked my way through the content it occurred to me that you might not want a mischief of rats descending upon you.
And yes, I googled the term for a group of rats. "Mischief" seems appropriate, don't you think?
Collective noun for "rats" is mischief? Awesome! Someone needs to add that here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_collective_nouns
Mischief! I love it! And definitely appropriate :)
Seems to me that a large group of rats really ought to be a "plague of rats".
Some favorites I have made up on my own:
A gossip of secretaries
A giggle of girls
When I was a teenager I started a book rilogy to be called:
A Murder of Crows (wherein the hero's city is burned)
An Unkindness of Ravens (wherein the hero Raven gets his revenge)
A Convocation of Eagles (wherein the good guys come together for a final battle with the bad guys)
