A trilogy of free books by a fellow mediocre-ite.
3Your fellow Mediocre forum member (& my step-brother) @herb has completed the third book in his fantasy novel trilogy The Aveliad, and to celebrate, they're all free today:
And if you aren't much of a reader but still want to help out, he tells me that just getting the download counts up is helpful.
If you are a reader, read anything good recently? I'm always in the middle of about 8 books, but am still working my way through Jules Verne's The Mysterious Island. It's like Lost, but instead of smoke monsters and polar bears, they just recreate 1800s society with next to no difficulties.

aha, another new rule: if any early mediocre forum user should write a trilogy, it must be offered to the community.
cool offer @herb - congrats & good luck!
I'll make a note of that for my next trilogy!
Thanx @dave! I'm always looking for a good read and free is right in my price range.
This seems perfectly in line with the kickstarter rule. Only it costs me no money to help!
I think the rule should broaden to, "Anything self-funded/crowd-source funded by MMF's MUST be posted."
Thanks, Dave! Did you know that after writing Around the World in Eighty Days and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Verne's original title for The Mysterious Island was Stuck in the Same Place for a Really Long Time?
Stuck in the Same Place for a Really Long Time would make a good title for a biography of my life. -sigh-
Thanks ! I like free.
Congrats on your trilogy completion @herb !
ETA: Just realized this was posted yesterday. It was still free today for anyone who thinks they missed it.
@ceagee, thanks, and I hope you enjoy them!
