Anyone experiencing OS X Mavericks issues?

For me, all sound is muted after resuming from sleep mode and is only restored upon restarting. That gets annoying pretty quickly.

Seems I am not the only one with this issue according to this TNW article.

at least nice to see story on it to know you're in good company. one commenter there says "On a more positive note is seems that if you take you earphones out before 'sleep' then there is not a problem" so maybe some sort of stopgap measure - unplug headphones when you take them off?

Yep. Mavericks borked Mail for me. Molasses-slow response times and oddly-timed queues (no mail, no mail, ALL THE MAIL) quickly became annoying. Really hoping Apple means it this time when they use the word 'fix'.

As I noted in the Changealog or whatever it's called, it disappeared my RSS feed ability. But they offered a message {when i clicked your link} to sell me a reader at the App store. Wonder what else I will have to buy with the "free" OS ? Suggestions ?

Lots of articles on line say Mavericks is a mess.

If I were an evil genius marketer at Apple, I'd charge for the 10.9.x updates.
