Anyone still watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade?
1It's the 87th year of gigantic floats creeping down NYC streets! I tend to pay higher attention to the food than the TV on Turkey Day but there are to be some new floats this year...anyone excited?

Yes, though to be honest I get more excited about the dog show afterwards.
Dogs are much cuter... I think the parade would be more exciting in person... I can't find the attention span to watch people wave and walk down streets on my tv... Not when it's so easy to change the channel. Where as in person you are STUCK there. lol
I was at the Chicago parade. It's fun for about 15 minutes, then it's freezing and the traffic sucks.
I'm still watching last year's.
I always watch to see if Santa sees his shadow at the end, which means 6 more weeks of November.
@barnabee, Thanks TiVo ~ time to delete some shows.
Parades would begin to become mildly interesting if there were random zombie attacks of the floats and bands. Not slow zombies, more like the fast running infected persons from 28 Days Later.
I never miss it. Transports me back to being a kid. My wife makes fun of me and I don't care! Very excited to watch with my daughter this year. She is at the age now where she might be interested OR she may make fun of me too. :)
@jimmyd103, that's sweet! I could see parades becoming exciting again as my daughter grows up
Sure.
Then we have to listen to Alice's Restaurant!
