Site seems to be hiccoughing in general right now but when my address fails elsewhere it's usually because the form chokes on my fastidious use of ZIP+4. Most times the regular five digit zip code will do.
I am a Canadian using a Canadian credit card and the postal code field doesn't let me enter letters, and no more than 5 numbers, so it keeps failing validation, yet I can already see Meh successfully "checked" my card by attempting to charge $1 USD on it (twice, since I tried entering it twice). Is there any help here?
@dacheng Since we do not ship internationally we do not accept any international credit cards. We do have quite a few Korean members of the community and they use cards with US billing addresses and freight forwarding services. Sorry, eh.
Declined my card - couldn't verify my (correct) billing address. Unfortunate. Doesn't fill me with confidence in your site. Looks like it's back to obscurity, meh.com...
Sorry about the trouble everyone. This seems to be an issue with the payment service we use, Stripe. We've had some people say that they need to put in their billing address exactly as it appears on their credit card statement for purchases to go through.
We'll dig a little deeper and see if there's anything we can do about making it better.
@newsite Sorry for the trouble, as @TerriblyHuang said if you receive that error no order will go through and you don't be charged. Definitely contact us at https://meh.com/support and we can work with you on the issue, as mentioned above try putting in your address exactly as it appears on your credit card statement (that sometimes means putting your apartment number in address line 1).
This is driving me nuts, I am VMP yet I can't purchase anything because I recently moved and now this site refuses to validate my address despite my having having changed my address on credit card.
@Supertainment If you're an apartment dweller, most of the time you enter your street address in line one and your apartment number in line two, if you receive an error try flipping them by putting your apartment number in address line one. Also make sure to input your address exactly the way it appears on your bank statement.
So this happened to me during the Fukobukuro sale. My zip code is 60660 and automatically is populated that way in the purchase details page, but all of my purchase attempts were rebuked with "Order failed zip code verification." Is this the bank's problem or the site's?
I am having problems with the Validation of billing address. You guys have placed $1 charge on my credit card. What gives? How can I purchase what I wanted??????????????????????????????????????????
snapster said 5 hours ago: Hey @mjjtech try emailing help@meh.com as they can look into error code you're getting and offer tips. Usually you can ignore that extended zip - the verification routine may be reporting mismatch on other numbers in address line. (I'd try reversing Apt / Street address myself if you haven't already)
(I do see that you posted this one first, just want to cover bases.)

This issue happened to me shortly after midnight. It still does not work at 8:15 central time.
@zxinfinity try taking out the dash between numbers. That helped for me.
@davethemave I haven't used any dashes in my CC number. And still no luck.
@zxinfinity Sorry, I wasn't clear. Delete dashes in the address if you have any. This worked for me. Good luck.
I get the same error message but I can see the $0 transactions on my card from
MEDIOCRE.COM
CARROLLTON , TX

I think something is wonky with the system. My go-to address for US credit card verification isn't working and it works everywhere else...

@JonT Does this mean we missed the 2 free months if Stripe wouldn't accept our billing address?
@Boogens contact us at https://meh.com/support and we should be able to hook you up.
I am going to cancel this order if it doesn't accept my address or tell me why it isn't acceptable.
Hi @newsite. From my experience, if they won't accept the address, there is no order. So nothing to cancel.

@mjjtech - CEO @snapster addressed your issue in your other post on meh.
