Is Your Vehicle Registration Up To Date? The Police Can Tell.

Someone just mentioned to me that they were pulled over on the way to work for not renewing their car registration. They’d thought that since we gave up stickers in PA the police would not be on top of expired registration but it’s actually easier for them to tell, when equipped with scanners. I had in fact heard a while back that the police were scanning plates and there was some concern for when such data might cease to be of interest to law enforcement, but had somehow not connected that to us less interesting drivers. Apparently, though, we are all potential criminals in the eye of the law.
