Just a username?

I really like the simple straight forward appearance of the forums. But I was wondering if there will be any opportunity in the future to personalize me in the forums or at meh? As an aside I have almost finished my life-sized avatar suit so I will soon be able live my online woot! persona in real life. The thought of being able to do the same over here would make my life have meaning. Honestly keeping my username as just that is perfectly meh to me.
