MAD APE DEN Karaoke Studio
6I'm proposing a series of karaoke videos featuring Mad Ape Den translations of popular songs. Mad Ape Den, as I'm sure you know, is a language game in which communication is limited to words three letters long and under.
In this translation, "safety" becomes "fat ice," being the opposite of "thin ice." You'll find a lot of dumb turns of phrase like that in Mad Ape Den; that's the "fun" of it.
On an unrelated note, have you ever seen video footage of yourself singing? It's a good way to find out how weird your mouth looks.

It may be a day or ten ere thy ode is on the top 40, but I did dig it.
But, boy, "fat ice" eh? It's bad, but I can not get a new way to say it I'd say did top it. Uh..."Not a day I may die" is a bit odd to say, as in "It's a not-a-day-I-may-die jig."
Out of the way of ill? Not apt to get cut up? A-ok?
Not ow?
Good thing the lyrics appear otherwise I would've been staring at your mouth (see him yap) the whole time to see how weird it was.
It's so weird
I have mixed feelings about this. Mainly, because I can't cleverly think of a way to express my feelings using 3-letter words.
It was worth a laugh, though I'm still not certain what purpose it serves.
And to answer your question, I think my face looks weird anyway. Watching myself sing might induce vomiting.
"It got one 'ha' out of me, but why did you do it?"
@matthew, Aren't we all going for dry humor here? :)
Are you ok ? You as if to be in cut.
And is that hue of pig stuff gob in jar is as if that McD yuk eat goo use. As it may be you ate of it. It get out of mug the cut.

@ceagee, Just imagine how many slim jims can be made from that!
Ok, I’ll bite. What’s the origin of Mad Ape Den? What does it mean? Crazy human house?
DuckDuckGo is not particularly helpful on this topic this morning, and I just watched Irk’s bop by the ho-ho fir, so I’m bothered by it again.
@stinks origin I believe was @dave and @JasonToon
