Music! Remixes and covers
3One of my passions is music, I listen to as much as I can every chance I get and it's helped me get through many tough times, long drives, and boring jobs (but not this one, I love it! Don't tell @dave).
My musical taste has been all over the place throughout my life but in the last few years I've been really into interesting remixes and covers that bend genres or mashup conflicting styles.
I stumbled on the YouTube channel for Scott Bradlee & Postmodern Jukebox and have been loving all of their classed-up, jazzy covers of modern pop songs.
They all make me feel like I should be wearing a suit with a glass of scotch in my hand.
And I've always liked this classic ([nsfw] language):
So what do you like? I want to hear your favorite covers/remixes.

I can't help being a fan of Richard Cheese.
I saw him live at the Annual Grilled Cheese Invitational in LA. It was as awesome as it sounds.
hey @jont I think you might enjoy this:
That was awesome and now I'm excited for the summer, 105 degree heat and all.
and gems like this:
We'll have to film the Mediocre version next time @matthew is in the office!
How about taking on an American classic with traditional Chinese instruments
I have a ton of these, so to avoid overwhelming this thread, this will be my last....for today.....

Another white people version of Gin and Juice
Did someone say Gin N Juice?
The Raconteurs is about the only thing from Jack white I didn't care for, but this is pretty great:
Also, following that chain:
No mashups have been posted yet, so let's kick off the morning with this one. (Borderline NSFW depending on your work environment.)
One of my favorite mashups [nsfw]:
Entire album (with list of tracks sampled): http://mashupbreakdown.com/all-day
I'm not afraid to admit that I thoroughly enjoyed that.
as you shouldn't be. 8 bit music is always a plus. I'm sure Beethoven had it in mind for all his stuff too.
Pretty much all the Pomplamoose stuff is great.
I love Pomplamoose, this is my favorite:
I was partial to these before they got their record deal.
