Even as comical as it is, it's all true. It's a shame that our government can be bought out for so cheap.
I don't understand why lobbying is even legal. How can a corporation have any interest that would be good for the people and not just for their bottom line? Unfortunately, the ones making the laws are the ones benefiting from lobbying, so it will never go away.
The last grasping vestiges of the struggling optimist in me wants to believe that something, anything we do has the possibility to help change things.
The seasoned cynic in me says I should know better by now. I really hate being a part of the new stereotype for 'Millennials' that's being both outraged and apathetic, but eh.....
So no, I haven't commented but I'm glad others have.
I guess it's a good sign that their commenting system crashed, seemingly from all the people attempting to do what I was too lazy to do. (Or maybe it was hacked, but that actually seems less likely in this case.)

@capguncowboy Wait, politicians aren't just serving the people but their own interests as well?
This fight is particularly interesting because of the heavy hitters on both sides of the equation.
So then, the follow-up - have you sent any comments in? I haven't (yet, I'll say).
I'm not a fan of wasting my time typing up things that no one will ever read, much less give a sh!t about. I'll probably not bother.
