Please tell me you saw some of the Lions vs Eagles game yesterday!
3I was supposed to be productive yesterday, but I could not stop watching the ridiculousness of this game. 8" of snow on the field, no one knows where the first down is, punts getting swallowed up by mounds of snow, and like 12 fumbles. Insane. Loved it!

Wow, 8 inches of snow is pretty hard core. Is that an NFL record? (I always have assumed Green Bay's played in the craziest conditions.)
@dave, Green Bay has had some epic Blizzards during games as well. This craziest part about this Eagles game was that the weather forecast called for a small dusting.
The Snow Bowl looks pretty fun:
"Twelve inches of snow fell before the game and another four to five inches fell during the game."
@dave, it was Steve Young's 2nd game in the league. Welcome to the NFL!
Yes. Anyone that knows me also knows that NFL football is my one true vice.
The best part of the game was watching Calvin Johnson get tackled face first into the snow and coming up with his facemask packed full of snow
The Abominable Megatron!!!
@capguncowboy, Part of me thinks it would be fun to play in a game like that. The 2nd part of me thinks the first part of me is an idiot.
Oddly enough, I feel the same way
Meanwhile:
A Yankees visual from a Cardinals fan makes me happy....even if it's of a bunch of scared pinstripers
We subscribe to Direct TV’s NFL ticket. Watching the Mix channel, which shows 8 games going on at the same time was a hoot! 8 little football games on the screen, and 6 of them where in crazy weather! I may DVR the Detroit game when they show it again on the NFL Channel, just so I can watch the “fun parts” again.
i'm jealous of your sunday football immersion. best excuse for acting slothy ever
