Sending money with Gmail

I'm not sure if anyone has tried to use Google Wallet within Gmail, but when I try to "attach money" to my emails I keep getting an error message telling me that "The money transfer system is currently unavailable." Has anyone had any experience with this yet? I typically use Venmo, but was wanting to check out something new.

Are there any other apps I should know about instead?

I know @shawn has used http://square.com/cash successfully. I forgot I had a debit card for awhile so haven't tried it out yet, but it sure seems simple.

BTW, never go cabin camping with Travis Green. He failed to tell everyone that the cabin which slept 8 just had a single, really large bed.

Ah, just when I got my Square Cash Gold status!

Hardly ever use Google Wallet, but this looks like a nice and simple implementation. "Attach Money" is cute.

I've received money via Google Wallet, but I've never sent it. I do use it with my Nexus 5 whenever NFC payments are available. It's worked both pulling from a credit card and my Google Wallet account.

I've moved money via Dwolla before. There's a minor charge per transaction there though.
