@DJP519 That is what I got too. That better be right!!! or I will be seriously pissed off since it won't let us buy again. Meh better honor that if something went terribly wrong with the order. I took a screen shot just in case.
I tried to place the order, it kicked back that my credit card number was incorrect. Remembered that my card had been canceled thanks to Home Depot. Fervently typed in my new number, sitting in a parking lot. Now it's just cycling, likely to never accept my order... Meh.
Kinda in the same boat. No confirmation, and the screen just hung. Then I was able to log in through another browser and tried to order again, and got far enough for it to say I had already ordered one. I sure hope that means it went through.
I submitted my order, got the green cycling bar, then got a "Oops. Let's try that again" message. Clicked it to try again, and then got a Oops message again, but underneath it says "Oops, Sorry. You can't buy more than one of these (You already bought 1)." Never saw an order confirmation screen.
@isokramer of course if later it says no and is sold out then there is a problem. I took a screen shot of it telling me I couldn't order again so hopefully that will be honored if my order is "lost". My first try was at 186 sold. My second one at 250 something or other said I had bought one already. my third attempt the screen said 416 and said it couldn't go through as I had bought one. So maybe since it claims twice in a row I bought one I should be OK
I had a feeling there was going to be a fuku tonight, so I was already loading the page right when it went up. I got mine ordered and got to listen to the song as well before it all came crashing down. ~whew~ :)
Something Went Terribly Wrong for the past 35(?) minutes already ...
I'm thinking back to the last website that broke down with the frequency of a Hyundai Excel ... TeeTurtle 1.0. Back in then, every time a new shirt went up, the server overloaded. It's been fine since Ramy upgraded everything (about 16 months ago), though, to the extent that it even survived the time he had over 10k orders in a day.
"Remember, those of us that missed out: the brain releases the same dopamine level for almost winning that it does by actual winning. It's how gambling addiction works, and I'd missed every BoC I went for back in the day. So, thank you, meh, for giving me the brush with glory that I haven't had in a long time."
meh. I tried for an hour. It failed to load several times, then crashed, then the Amazon sign-in failed and redirected me to Mediocre, which then required I go back to Meh, which asked me to sign in again, and again, and again. Finally it got to the order page, I punched the buy button, and the green bar spun several times, then said something terribly wrong happened, and to try again. After the 7th attempt, it informed me the sale was sold out, and I should go to bed.
You know mediocre, you can't expect to grow when your site has these problems. All week your site has struggled with working at change over time and then for the next 45 minutes. While you may have steady traffic, I think you could be losing a good amount of customers who check and not come back when it doesn't come up. Do you have a decline in meh button clicks, what about people who have a lot of clicks, what about a moderate amount? You keep saying you want us to help you grow, but your site not working doesn't exactly help us help you. Know what I'm saying?
