From a ski trip to Taos, NM. (We stayed halfway between the mountain and the town of Taos.) First is out back of the house, second is the Rio Grand Gorge Bridge. Both pictures make me smile.
@Cinoclav Gorgeous shots. I wouldn't mind seeing that first view out my back window. (Although watching my neighbor's house slowly topple over has its own entertainment value.) The bridge shot's also nice. Love that big sky and the whole composition..
@editorkid@JonT Thanks guys. Yes, New Mexico was truly beautiful. I'll probably share some other vacay shots but I'm rather limited to what I have while I'm at work. I have one in particular from a trip to Chamonix, France that's probably my all time favorite photo. I'll try to get to it this evening.
@editorkid@JonT This one... Not the best picture I've ever taken but it has a lot of meaning to me and I still think it's gorgeous. Just to note, it's not blurry, it was snowing.
@editorkid I'm familiar with it but I don't read it. I'd like to get more into photography. These were taken with Canon point and shoots. The Chamonix picture is from 2002 so the camera is obviously a much lower resolution. I generally shoot what simply looks good to me as that's the memory I want to hold onto at that moment.
@Moose I sea what you did here
@TerriblyHuang Why? The ocean is right there, why a bathtub?
To rinse the salt off?
@Thumperchick spinning around in a hammock doesn't seem that relaxing.
@JonT @thumperchick
This is nice! I may never go back.
I feel like I'm in a cialis or zoloft commercial...

@Cinoclav great shots! I never thought New Mexico was so purdy until this:

@Cinoclav That's nice too. Do you read Outdoor Photography magazine? It has reader submissions and some of these might work for them.

(A nature preserve near me.)
@editorkid That second shot just made my day calmer somehow. Thanks!
@Thumperchick Thank you! Glad it had its hoped-for effect.
@jimmyd103 i find that that makes me anxious. it is a bit creepy to have hte ice co clear it looks like you are floating above the rocks.
Bump.
What the hell is this place!? How did I get here?
Muwahahahaha!
@mfladd Well, there goes the neighborhood.
@mfladd only three and a half years late…
Looks like it’s time for us to go.
@Ignorant @curtise @Barney
There’s some vacant property over on mediocritee.
@Barney @curtise @PlacidPenguin that place is kind of a dump right now.
@Barney @curtise @Ignorant
