Too many chipmunks!!
1Does anyone else have a chipmunk over population problem? It is probably a suburb problem more than a rural problem. I spent today relocating nine chipmunks to our local park and more to do tomorrow. When they start running over your feet willy nilly it is time for them to go!

Nope…Currently raccoons and bunnies for me.
@Ignorant and now a yard full of fleas
Haven’t seen an actual chipmunk around here in years unfortunately as their population is dwindling except perhaps in your yard so you might need your yard designated as an endangered species habitat. Now skunks and possums on the other hand…too many of them around here. And barking dogs.
I love watching the squirrels playing in my yard, but they’ve never left more than 10 walnuts from my tree.
And twice in the last 3 weeks, our day-long power outage was blamed on squirrels. RIP little guys.
Not an overpopulation but I have them. I’ve seen one or two around which means time to get out the trap again. There’s a lovely new development of McMansions they built on the grounds of a mental hospital they kicked a bunch of people out of with no place to go. That’s where I like to re-home them.
They are all over the yard. I was in the crawlspace doing something and one ran over my foot. Yes, I screamed like a little girl. I love them- so cute.
For the first time in ever, I don’t have a dog. I feed the bird and live verrrry rural in a Nat’l forest. The chipmunks and squirrels and raccoons are coming out of the woodwork. The raccoons are the worst as they want to run off with the entire feeder. I wish I could bring myself to dispatch them. They’re all becoming destructive. The little rodents get in the soffits and chew through wiring.
Yes, maybe the worse I have seen them. I think I’ve got the moles under control, next step me vs. the chipmunks!
Moles, moles, and more moles. Husband’s killed 12 so far this year. Lawn guy said he’s never seen this many.
