What are you getting your Valentine? <3

Hopefully you've already gotten your special someone something by now, whether you consider it just a shallow consumer holiday or not...

My husband and I set a $20 limit this year and I came in just under that by ordering him a Liger portable bluetooth speaker for $19.95. I'm really hoping it's decent! I think he will enjoy playing with the NFC feature.

And as a notorious late gift-giver, I was so excited to order it on Wednesday morning with two day shipping! Total win! Except... Amazon has now alerted me that it will not be here until Tuesday. Total fail.

Now I'm having to make up for the absence of a present with a fresh pan of brownies tonight.

Which is sort of a win anyways because brownies.

I had the rotten luck of coming up with a perfect gift (on-time since we're celebrating on Sunday when we have a babysitter) on my morning commute and realizing, right before I head home, that I've forgotten said perfect gift.

I took the romance out of it and gave cash for clothes shopping....that and I hang out with the baby while she shops so a little precious freedom.
