What are your last browser bookmarks?
0Do people still use bookmarks? I find myself bookmarking tools and resources more than sites I visit regularly. Something about my mind makes it easier to just type in a site name that I'm going to hang out at, but need a button if I want to look something up. Here's a few of my recent bookmarks (left-to-right on my bookmark bar):
Wordcount - It's surprisingly frequent that I'm needing to count characters for one reason or another (Twitter, or in design so that I end up with more readable line lengths).
Add To Wishlist - While it's usually dependable to just think like an 8-year-old boy in determining what I want for Christmas, sometimes I like to help out by actually adding stuff. I prefer this thing to a browser add-on because it's easier to remove post-Holidays.
Twitter API - This is an aspirational bookmark. I've always got ideas for silly Twitter apps (like one that finds everyone who just saw a shooting star) and I hate having to bug my developer friends (@shawn">ahem) to try to get them to implement my idiocy. So I keep staring at this page hoping I'll figure out how to get into it someday.
New Github Issue - This lets me quickly add an issue to our github project for this forum, so the previously mentioned developers can help fix any stuff we notice.
Font Awesome Cheatsheet - This is what we try to use for any icons on here, so we're not having to create new graphics. One day I'd love to enable these for you guys to use in the forums, as better emoji.
And then I've got several links to 37signals stuff - a couple basecamps, a campfire.
What's in your bookmark bar? Or what else do you use, if not that?

I have one bookmark folder for tech blogs and one folder for daily deal sites on my bookmarks bar and command+click each of them in the morning to quickly browse through and see if anything grabs my attention. Works well for me, but if anyone else has any tricks I'd love to hear.
My bookmarks have bookmarks.
My bar is my standard set of sites I'm too lazy to type out - Amazon Lightning Deals, my favorite IRC channel web client, a couple social media sites, here, etc.
My Bookmarks - that's broken down by categories and interests.
Oh man, I spend too much time on the web.
Well, you might as well spend it efficiently.
I have like 10 bookmarks, pretty much just things I use constantly. For everything else I just use firefox autocomplete from history.
Bookmarks are basically my online junk drawer. I use them to temporarily keep track of things I think are important/interesting and want to come back to later.
Most recent bookmark: 27 Surreal Places To Visit Before You Die

I do not use bookmarks at home but do constantly at work. the last one I used was for keyboard shortcuts for special characters, such as ®,›,† and ™
