What's your home page?
3I recently set my "new browser window" page to be the mediocre forum, because, you know, I work here and it seems like a reasonable thing to check on pretty regularly.
It struck me that I hadn't had any home page at all for the past I-don't-know-how-many years, just the default thumbnails of sites I visit most, which I also basically never click out of habit of just typing site names in.
So, do you have a home page on your browser? Or is that a dead idea?

Dead idea... but maybe we could bring it back if we add one of those JavaScript set-this-as-your-homepage prompts to mediocre.com
I've been told multiple times, by the owner of the company at which I work, that I am not and never will be the "average consumer" - based solely upon the fact that my homepage is set to "blank".
I admit, I'm a dinosaur. ARRRRRRRRRGH (Is that how a dinosaur sounds?) I have my homepage set to igHome.
No, that's not a dinosaur. That's Charlie Brown. -sigh-
Work homepage is set to my work website and the one at home is set to Google. Google knows all...
mine defaults to blank. For years though I had it set as google.com/pacman
I found that it came in handy when I wanted to waste productive hours of my life being useless to the world. However, they changed it so it's no longer a search engine and it lost it's actual usefulness. Sad day.
Mine was igoogle for years and years, but they just discontinued that site, now it's ighome, which is like a bad store brand version of it
I think the New Tab "Wheel" (or w/e each browser calls it) is steadily replacing the homepage. Even on my phone, Chrome defaults to the "Most Visited" new tab.
Although, personally, I still love to keep a few pinned tabs as my default when opening a new window, including the forum.
I have Chrome load multiple websites each time I open it up. Google,Twitter, LinkedIn, Feedly, Football365, Hootsuite. Since I am in Chrome all day, I found it saved me a few seconds each day by setting this up.
It was iGoogle, but since that has gone, I have none.
Mine was iGoogle also, but I migrated to Feedly and I'm happier than I've been in years: my current home page is the daily Calvin and Hobbes feed.
