@Ignorant Yes, I found that post and checked. The bottom of my "my account" page just says "Hey, you're a VMP member. What's that?" Then nothing else is there. I'd include a screenshot but don't see how.
@Thumperchick I'm using the Mediocre URL. Doesn't make a difference. the cancel link is missing on both. Here's a screen shot on Safari on a Mac http://imgur.com/t1JtKmE. I tried Chrome and it's the same. Same on Meh or Mediocre URL. Same on Safari for iPad too, so it isn't a plugin (Safari iPad has no plug-ins or ad blockers, etc.)
I canceled today because I wanted to avoid auto-renewal on March 5, but it looks like the membership ended effective immediately. I thought I got to keep it for the full month per this page:
"I would like to add that you can cancel VMP at any time and your VMP status, benefits, and badge will stay with you for the full 30 days."
Would have been cool to order these keychain adapter thingies tonight. Too late?
Thumperchick said Tue, Jan 13th 2015 at 4:22pm eastern: This entire thread is outdated. For more current information, please check out Mediocre's official VMP page.
I apologize if you missed it. If you want to order today's product, you'll have to start a new VMP membership. Womp womp.
Gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up. May I humbly suggest making the "official" info easier to find? I skimmed that page and didn't realize it was a user post.
@a13zmediocre.com/vmp or you can click the head icon at the top right of any forum page and click "VMP Membership" - I did ask a staff member to flag that old thread as outdated, so thank you for bringing it up. Sorry about that.
Why must the interweb be so complicated? I think Meh should mail a user's manual to anyone who might not want to be a VMP member at any point in the future.
There should be some verification that VMP has successfully been cancelled. I am pretty sure I did it right but left wondering... April has been a big disappointment Meh...
@SongNotSung The easiest way is to look next to your username here - you do not have a VMP badge, which means you were indeed successful at canceling your membership. Another way to check is to click the head icon at the top of any forum page, click My Account - scroll to the bottom, if you are VMP, It'll look like this
@Thumperchick thank you, I am sure I will renew sometime, but so far April has either not appealed to me or I have been too late- (sleeping New Englander)
@basasaba09 Head to https://mediocre.com/account - scroll down to the section on VMP Membership and click the green “edit” button. From there, scroll all the way to the bottom and click the “cancel your membership” link.
That's not good! Could you post what browser and platform you're using, so they can find the bug?
@Thumperchick I don't see a way to cancel on the "my account" page. I'm currently using Safari on iPad.
@jeffdrafttech did you follow these directions?
https://mediocre.com/forum/topics/how-to-cancel-vmp-current-as-of-22515
Scroll to the bottom of "my account", is there a link there to cancel, if not what does it say there?

@jeffdrafttech that is very strange, if you haven't already I'd contact support at:
https://mediocre.com/support
@jeffdrafttech Are you checking from mediocre.com/account or meh.com/account ? sometimes, it only shows up right on mediocre.

@jeffdrafttech That's definitely weird. You're missing the bottom half of that section. Maybe @JonT can look into it for you?
meh is good, but I am busy to shop anything.
I also do not see any way to cancel. Please advise
@sbenzekri Here are the instructions. But, it looks like you already got it canceled - your VMP badge is gone.

@a13z That was an unofficial post and did have an update added in the comments stating that it was out of date and incorrect.

@ajfier They should charge them an extra $5 for that service.
i wan,t cancel vmp. but this site has some error.
